Dirt, noise, dust, restlessness and disabilities: unpleasant effects of a large company. So at least, was my previous perception or more precisely: my prejudice about construction sites.
In my life I have experienced that prejudices prevent me from recognizing the richness of the world, that they prevent me from seeing and enjoying the miracles of everyday life and from drawing joy from them.
In my photographic work I have therefore also acquired a different point of view. The world tries to experience this point of view before prejudices can take over the regency of perception. With this point of view I met the tunnel construction site "Neufeldzubringer". Throughout the duration of the construction project, I took on the prejudice about construction sites and tried to overcome it photographically. This resulted in a collection of pictures.
A collection of impressions of a world at the feet of all builders, construction workers and site visitors. At the same time a world that not many people are aware of. The book kidnaps you into this miraculous world full beauty, fascination and aesthetics.
